Can AI search find your site?

Paste your website and see whether ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews can reach it, read it and connect it to your brand. You get a score and a fix for every gap in about ten seconds.

Method

How the score works

Each check passes (full points), needs work (half points) or is missing (no points). Points are weighted, then scaled to 100. A score of 90 or more means you're ready for AI search, 70 to 89 is almost there, 40 to 69 needs work, and under 40 means AI tools can barely see you.

AI crawlers can reach your site●●●3robots.txt decides which bots may read your pages. Block the answer bots and you cannot be cited.
Page is allowed in search results●●●3A noindex tag tells search engines and AI answers to leave the page out.
Content loads without JavaScript●●●3Most AI crawlers read raw HTML and skip JavaScript, so client-rendered copy is invisible to them.
Structured data describes who you are●●2Organization or Person schema links your pages to your brand as one entity.
Sitemap is easy to find●●2A sitemap listed in robots.txt helps crawlers find every page you want seen.
Title and description are set●●2These are often the first lines an engine reads and quotes about a page.
One clear main heading●1A single H1 states the page topic plainly.
Link previews are set up●1Open Graph tags shape how your link looks when shared in chats and AI tools.
Canonical URL is declared●1Stops duplicate URLs from splitting your ranking signals.
llms.txt guide for AI tools●1A newer, optional file that gives AI tools a short map of your key pages.

Want your brand in the answers?

This check covers the technical basics. Getting quoted by AI also takes content built around the questions your buyers ask. I set up both for technical B2B teams.

FAQ

About the check

What does the AI search check look at?

It fetches your page the way an AI crawler does, then reads your robots.txt, sitemap, llms.txt, structured data, meta tags and the text in your raw HTML. Each item gets a pass, a needs-work or a missing, with a fix.

Does blocking GPTBot or ClaudeBot hurt my score?

No. Those crawlers collect training data, and blocking them is a business choice. The score only counts the crawlers that fetch pages to answer questions, like OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot and Bingbot.

Is my site stored anywhere?

No. The check runs once when you press the button and the results are not saved. I get a private notification with the domain you checked, its score and your rough location (city and country), so I can see how the tool is used. Nothing about you is stored.

Can you fix what it finds?

Yes. SEO and AI search is one of my services: audits, schema, AI crawler setup and content built to be quoted in AI answers. Book a call and we can go through your results together.
